Numerical Simulation as a Design Tool
Simulation is most valuable when it is used to make decisions, not to justify them after the fact. We run analysis early, while the geometry can still change cheaply.
Our background is electromagnetic field theory, microwave engineering, and numerical simulation — including particle-in-cell (PiC) methods — so the analysis starts from the physics, not from a solver's menu.
Electromagnetics and Microwave
- Analytical and numerical treatment of EM problems, starting from Maxwell's equations
- Waveguides, cavities, and resonators
- Microwave and vacuum-electronics devices
- Particle-in-cell simulation of charged-particle dynamics in fields
- Custom numerical codes in Python and C/C++ where no off-the-shelf tool fits
Finite Element Analysis
Structural and thermal analysis with the FreeCAD FEM workbench (CalculiX solver):
- Static stress and deformation under load
- Modal analysis — natural frequencies and mode shapes
- Steady-state heat conduction
Deliverables
- Simulation models and scripts, runnable by your team
- Results report with methodology, assumptions, and limits of validity
- Post-processed field maps and plots
- Python scripts for parametric sweeps on request
